The fourth Women in Science Reunion is scheduled March 14-15, 2008

Dr. Phyllis C. Leppert ’60 (photo at left), vice chair of research for the Duke University School of Medicine, and Jill Kneen Stamm ’68 (photo at right), associate clinical professor of psychology in education at Arizona State University and founder of the New Directions Institute for Infant Brain Development in Phoenix, will be the keynote speakers for the fourth Women in Science (WIS) Reunion at DePauw on Friday and Saturday, March 14 and 15, 2008.
The WIS Reunion will be an energizing weekend when DePauw alumnae can return to campus to reconnect with friends and current students. DePauw WIS undergraduates will also participate in the weekend’s events.

The opening session will feature a Generational Panel on Navigating Life after DePauw. Panelists will include Lisa Henderson Bennett ’93, quality engineer with Allison Transmission; Virginia Colten-Bradley ’74, fund-raising consultant; Stephanie A. Freeman ’02, physician at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine; and Freedom S.N. Smith ’01, associate attorney who focuses on environmental law and business litigation.
The program also will include a joint alumnae and student poster session (for poster session details, click here), Friday evening cocktail reception and dinner at the Walden Inn with a featured speaker, Saturday luncheon and keynote speaker at The Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics, campus and science facility tours, and panel
presentations on Ethics in Science, and Green Initiatives and Sustainability at DePauw.
