Course Requests and Registration (School of Music)
Registration for first-year students in the School of Music for the Fall 2006 semester begins in May. On May 26, 2006, the forms for online registration will be activated and you can begin submitting your course and first-year seminar requests. These requests are due by noon, June 19, 2006.
Course requests are processed together after the June 19 submission deadline, not as they come in, so there is no special advantage to submitting your requests early. Take time to read through the registration materials and remember that you can revise your course requests after you have submitted them, up to the June 19 deadline.

Choose
- 10 to 15 courses. Most first-year students in the School of Music register for one elective liberal arts course. That's what you're requesting here. Your courses in the School of Music will be assigned to you. We know that putting 10-15 choices for one course is going overboard, but it helps the system work. See Courses for First-Year Students for listings and descriptions. Use the courses worksheet to mark courses you are interested in. Contact us with your questions.
