On-Campus Information Sessions
This year, DePauw will host on-campus information sessions for incoming students on June 16, 17, 19 and 20. The program for these optional sessions will be short and will not duplicate information you will receive during the orientation for new students in August. You will have a chance to sit down in a small group with an academic advisor to discuss classes, schedules and requirements. Advisors will be available for individual follow-up discussions. There will be three information sessions for parents that address questions about academic programs, campus life and information services/library resources. In the afternoon, you will be able to visit your residence hall and various campus offices, obtain your student ID and parking permit and take placement tests in modern languages.
You are not required to attend an on-campus information session. Because many of you live a considerable distance from Greencastle or are working full-time jobs, we want to make sure you can get the same level of support without making a trip to Greencastle. There are call-in and on-line advising services for you, and you will have time during orientation in August to get your ID and parking permit and to take placement tests.
