In upcoming alumni events, Graduates of the Last Decade (GOLD) will have a GOLDen opportunity for networking in Chicago; Dayton, Ohio, alumni plan a dinner and program with DePauw's director of alumni relations, and DePauw graduates will perform the New York premiere of a song cycle composed by Kevin D. James ’83. Several booksignings are planned around the country by James B. Stewart Jr. ’73, author of a new bestselling book, DisneyWar.

DePauw Director of Alumni Relations Jennifer Clarkson Soster '88 will give Dayton-area alumni an update about the University on Tuesday, April 26. The New York City Alumni Council commissioned Kevin James ’83, a noted composer, to create a song cycle based on the award-winning poetry of Eugene Gloria, DePauw Assistant Professor of English, and former DePauw faculty member Maurice Manning. Alumni are encouraged to attend the New York premiere of James’ work, which is scheduled on Wednesday, May 4, at the Kosciuszko Foundation.
