Tablet PC Information

What is a Tablet PC?
DePauw offers a Tablet PC that is a fully-functional Windows laptop and more. It has as an attached keyboard and looks much like a conventional laptop , but it includes a digitizer screen that enables you to write directly on the screen using a special pen (included with the computer). You can also rotate the screen 180 degrees and lay it flat over the keyboard for a more comfortable reading and writing experience.  The Tablet PC can be used as a notebook, blackboard, overhead projector, and of course, a computer. This makes it easy to perform a number of common tasks such as drawing diagrams while taking notes in class and making hand-written annotations or highlighting marks on PDF documents while doing assigned reading.  In addition, some DePauw courses use special collaboration software that works naturally with Tablet PCs.
