Directions to Campus

DePauw's campus in Greencastle, Indiana is located just 45 minutes west of Indianapolis and approximately three hours south of Chicago. Greencastle is on eastern time.

From the East

Take I-70 West from Indianapolis to US-231 at Exit 41. Go north on US-231 for approximately 8 miles.  Turn left onto Anderson Street at the main entrance to the University.  (Note: These directions apply to those traveling from Indianapolis International Airport.)

FROM THE West

Take I-70 East from Terre Haute, Ind. to US-231 at Exit 41. Go north on US-231 for approximately 8 miles.  Turn left onto Anderson Street at the main entrance to the University.  

FROM THE North

From I-65 or I-74, take the exit for US-231. Go south on US-231 until you reach the City of Greencastle.  Once in town, turn left at the Courthouse Square onto Washington Street.  Continue on Washington Street until you reach the traffic light for US-231, and turn right (at a diagonal).  Go approximately three blocks and turn right onto Anderson Street at the main entrance to the University.  

FROM THE South

Take US-231 north from Spencer, Ind., passing through Cloverdale.  Once in Greencastle, turn left onto Anderson Street at the main entrance to the University.
