Athletic and Recreation Facilities Master Plan

Varsity athletics hold an important place in the DePauw student experience and are an enduring source of institutional pride.

For more than 145 years, athletics have provided formative leadership experiences for DePauw student-athletes. They have also given DePauw students, alumni, family and friends a common sense of identity. Intercollegiate competition has introduced DePauw to regional and national audiences and helped attract to our campus some of the finest students in the country.

The Athletics and Recreation Master Plan – developed with the leading athletics facilities planning firm Hastings+Chivetta and approved by the Board of Trustees in October 2012 – provides a road map for ensuring that DePauw’s athletics program remains competitive and strong and a source of pride for DePauw students for generations to come.  The Master Plan will guide investments in the University's indoor and outdoor athletics and recreation facilities.

Through the support of alumni, parents and friends these plans can become a reality. Now is the time to ensure that DePauw’s athletic and recreation facilities, and its athletic programs generally, match the excellence and aspirations of our University.
