Tuition Costs 2009-10

Tuition and Fees:

Tuition rates and financial aid information for the 2010-11 Academic Year will be determined in January, 2010.

Tuition and Fees for the Master of Arts in Teaching program will be $17,200 for the year 2009-10. A small amount of need-based financial aid (in the form of grants-in-aid) will be available from DePauw. Enrolled students may also qualify for federal loans.

Application fee:

An application fee of $200 is required and must accompany application materials. This payment may be in the form of either a personal check, cashier's check or a money order. Credit cards may not be used to pay this application fee. The fee is non-refundable, but it will be applied to the tuition charge for enrolling students. Financial aid arrangements should be initiated at the time of application. Students will be notified by March 30 of their eligibility and their financial aid packages.

Deadlines:

  • March 15, 2009 Student is notified of Admission Committee decision.
  • March 30, 2009 A tuition deposit of $1,000 is due on this date. Financial aid arrangements should be completed and approved.
  • August 1, 2009 First semester tuition fee of $8,600, minus any financial aid amount, is due on this date; Student Health Record is also due by this date.
  • November 30, 2009 Second semester fee of $7,400, minus any financial aid amount, is due on this date.
