Eva Weisz was awarded the Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instructions and Educational Policy and Leadership from The Ohio State University, and after a two year term at Kent State University, joined the DePauw faculty in 1991. Prior to her doctoral work, she taught high school English, Speech and Drama at Lakewood High School in Hebron, Ohio. Her areas of research/interest include curriculum theory, teacher reflection and effectiveness, teaching as a performing art and teacher education. Dr. Weisz has taught Secondary Methods, Middle School Curriculum, The Modern Middle School, Senior Seminar, Adolescent Development, Foundations of Education, Education Issues and Trends, among other courses, and supervised student teachers in the public schools. She has served on RAS, COF and the Teacher Education Committee.
