Kellie Dawson received her Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2004 with a dissertation entitled “Portions of Heaven and Hell: Sympathy and Suffering in Lolita.” Along with her current work on a critical and cultural analysis of Lolita, she is conducting research into recent trends toward politically incorrect humor in literature and popular culture. Her teaching interests include Native American Literature, Popular Culture, Prison Literature, Gender and Sexuality, and Film. |
