Ron Dye
came to DePauw in the fall semester 1999, teaching Playwriting in the English Department and directing a mainstage theatrical production for the Communication Arts and Sciences Department. He has spent the last dozen years working professionally in theatre as a playwright, director, actor and administrator, primarily in Chicago, Indianapolis and Bloomington, Indiana. He is former Artistic Director of both the Bloomington Playwrights Project and Turtle Island Theatre Company, and was Director of Theatre for the Bloomington Area Arts Council for over six years.

Mr. Dye received a BA degree in psychology and sociology from Marian College, and is currently completing an MFA in playwriting from Indiana University, where he also studied folklore and ethnomusicology. He has recently been named Executive Director of the Indiana Theatre Association.
