Committee on Management of Academic Operations (MAO)

This committee shall be responsible for policies and actions of the faculty relating to the daily operation of academic programs, and it shall have the responsibility for making recommendations to the faculty concerning the institution and implementation of these policies and details. --Taken from Handbook

Faculty members: Three-yr terms. No more than two may be from one division and no more than one from one department. A faculty member must be tenured or at least the seventh year of full-time faculty status to be eligible for election as an at-large representative. A faculty member must be tenured or in at least the seventh year of full-time faculty status to be eligible to serve as chair. No person shall serve as chair two years in succession.
