The launch was accomplished despite very strong winds of 50 km/hr (30 miles per hour). Reached a new record altitude for the BASE program of 104,800 feet. Recovery was hampered by loss of communication between the onboard computer and radio systems. Payload,balloon remnant and chute lines were in a tangled mess at the landing site.
