Rebecca Bordt

Rebecca Bordt is Assistant Professor of Sociology at DePauw. Her research and teaching interests include the sociology of organizations, gender studies, and criminology. She is currently working on an historical analysis of prison narratives written by prisoners. She has published on classroom teaching strategies, women’s non-profit organizations, feminist collectives, and gender differences in criminal court sentencing. She teaches introductory sociology, criminology, intimate violence, and prison history and culture.
