Kelley Hall

Kelley Hall teaches courses on Gender, Social Inequalities, Introductory to Sociology, and Research Methods.  She also teaches Introduction to Women’s Studies and a first-year seminar called “Comic Books and American Society.”  An examination of the intersections of gender, race, class, and sexuality is central to every class.  Kelley has published articles on teaching and presented several papers on the division of child transportation work in dual-earner married families.  Her scholarly interest in comics focuses on comics as a teaching tool and the X-Men as a metaphor for social inequality.
