Anne Harris came to DePauw in 1997 and received her PhD from the University of Chicago in 1999. She teaches two first-year seminars, “From the Holy Land to Graceland: Studies in Pilgrimage” and "Stolen! Art Theft and Western Culture," as well as "Love and War in Medieval Art and Literature," "Women in Medieval Art” and “History of Self-Portraiture.” She has drawn a number of juried conference presentations from her dissertation on French modern and medieval stained glass, and is also interested in photography, in art of the Soviet revolution, in the history of the museum, and in many other things. She currently serves as Director of DePauw's Honor Scholar Program.
