Howard Pollack-Milgate is Assistant Professor of German at DePauw. He received his Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1998. His research and teaching interests center upon the intersection points of science, philosophy, and literature, and he specializes in the Romantic period. He has done research upon masculinity in the early German Romantics and has taught "Gender and Sexuality in German Culture," a survey of the German tradition and its unique contributions to these questions.
