Biostatistics

Includes laboratory. A detailed survey of the techniques involved in the collection and analysis of biological data. Topics include sampling and the types of biological data, hypothesis generation and testing, parametric and nonparametric statistical tests, categorical data analysis and design of experiments. Prerequisites: BIO 101 (or 135) and 102 (or 145), or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit in ECON 350 or PSY 214.
