Post-Graduate Opportunities and Outcomes

We provide assistance to DePauw students pursuing a variety of paths upon graduation. The following list of post-graduate opportunities is not exhaustive, but serves as a reflection of students’ pursuits:

Employment - DePauw students embark on a variety of careers with government agencies, financial institutions, non-profit organizations, educational facilities and corporations.

Graduate and Professional Schools- Every year approximately 30% of the graduating class attend graduate or professional schools while within the next 5 years that number increases significantly.

Bridging Programs – Many students want to gain experience or perform service before committing to graduate school or a career and will pursue programs such as Teach for America, the Peace Corps, Teaching English Abroad and AmeriCorps.

National Fellowships and Awards – DePauw University students and alumni have been awarded some of the most prestigious scholarships and fellowships in the arts and sciences.

Service - Many DePauw students continue the calling to service upon graduation either through their career, a bridging program or volunteer opportunities.
