Our Mission

Professional Opportunities exists to help students and alumni craft lives of meaning, significance and service.  We provide experiences, advising and coaching to help students develop and implement intentional and effective transitions from college to careers. 

Directions to Campus

Campus directions  We are housed in the Memorial Union Building.  Centrally located for students and visitors with all Civic, Global and Professional Opportunities staff and programs.

Employment and internship opportunities are the responsibility of the student and are not guaranteed or implied by the Professional Opportunities, the University or the employing organizations. 

Scheduling Expectations

Students who register for events and appointments are expected to be present.  Other students are seeking appointment times and we seek to provide the most efficient and timely service possible.  Please provide at least 24 hour advance notice of cancellation, if possible, so that we can attempt to fill the open time.

Should you miss a scheduled interview with an employer, you will be expected to write a formal letter of explanation to the employer with a copy given to Professional Opportunities, as your behavior of not showing for an interview reflects negatively on yourself, DePauw, and the student body.
