Information for Program Providers
In an effort to best advise students on off-campus opportunities and ensure a good fit of experiences off-campus with on-campus academics, we maintain an approved set of off-campus programs.
Adding Programs to the Approved List
The faculty International Education Committee (IEC) is responsible for approving and reviewing off-campus programs. In collaboration with the off-campus study staff, programs are reviewed on a regular basis to ensure they meet our desired goals. New programs may be identified by off-campus study staff or faculty members; once identified, they are reviewed by the IEC. Students may petition to participate in a program not currently on the list; should the program be approved for that student, it will be considered for addition to the list should there be continued interest and demand for such a program beyond that one student. Questions about adding programs to the approved list should be directed to Sarah Whitaker.
Annual Global Fair
We hold a study abroad fair ever year, typically the third Monday of September. Only those program providers on the approved list are invited to attend. Invitations with information about the fair are sent over the summer. For information about the fair, please contact Roni McMains.
Visits to Campus
Civic, Global & Professional Opportunities welcomes program representatives of programs on our approved list who wish to visit campus and meet with potential student participants or visit classrooms. Please contact Sarah Whitaker for information about scheduling a campus visit.
