Dean of Faculty and Professor of Psychology
Professor Terri Bonebright has taught in the psychology department at DePauw University since 1995. She has been recognized for her teaching and mentoring effectiveness; specifically she was awarded the Exemplary Teaching Award for 2000–2001 and selected as an outstanding faculty volunteer and as an outstanding faculty member by the student body in 1996. She has performed key leadership roles for DePauw University by serving as Faculty Development Coordinator for 2003–2006, chair of the psychology department for 2005–2010, and, currently as Dean of Faculty. Her scholarship includes research in the areas of sonification of graphs, the perception of everyday sounds, and the effectiveness of technology in teaching. She has published over 40 refereed publications and given over 50 conference presentations, frequently with student collaborators.
