Schaenen Grant Inquiry Form

The Janet Prindle Institute for Ethics invites proposals for the Schaenen Visiting Scholar/Artist Grant. This is the form for a short proposal to see if your idea fits this program. If it does, we will invite you to submit more information. This grant will support short term visits by scholars or artists who will contribute to the intellectual life of our students during (roughly) a week of intensive interactions through classes, seminars, and/or informal discussions. Ethics or an ethical issue must be explicitly addressed as a significant part of the visit or the artist or scholar. Proposals are invited from departments, academic programs and non-academic programs. Preference will be give to multidisciplinary or multi-program nominations. This preliminary application is due May 10. Since there is no way to save your work and return to this form later, you may want to first type your answers in word and then past them into this form.
