Application for Funding from the Prindle Institute for Support of an Ethics-Related Event
The Prindle Institute is interested in funding projects that have an integral relation to ethics. There are at least two ways that a project can meet this requirement. First, the project might have as one of its components the explicit examination of a clearly identified ethical question or issue. In that case, we ask that the proposal make it clear how the project will address the relevant ethical question or issue. Second, the project might not include formal discussion of an ethical issue as one of its components but it might be a project that is nevertheless highly likely to provoke ethical reflection on the part of its audience. In that case, we ask that the proposal identify the relevant ethical questions or issues and provide a brief explanation of how the project will provoke reflection on such questions or issues in the minds of its audience. Projects of either type may also involve the implementation and/or application.
