Linda Clute
Assistant Director
Linda Clute began her career at DePauw in 1998 and has served the University in several offices—Public Affairs, the President’s Office, and Development and Alumni Relations. She has been Assistant Director of the Prindle Institute since it opened in early 2008.
Prior to coming to DePauw, Linda served in the dual capacity of Director of the Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce and Project Manager for Main Street Greencastle. She has been an entrepreneur with her husband, Bruce, owning two restaurants in Greencastle, and was the sole proprietor of The Office Pro, an administrative support service for small businesses and non-profits. She is a graduate of Ball State University’s School of Business.
Linda is a native of Indianapolis. She and her husband currently live in Greencastle. She has three children, Brandon who lives in Chicago with his wife Tracy their two children, Ashley who lives in Greencastle with her daughter, and Adam who attends Ball State University. Her favorite things are spending time with her grandchildren, preparing themed meals with her family, power walks in the DePauw Nature Park, farmer’s markets in the summer, yoga at the Bartlett Reflection Center, and ballroom dancing. She thinks the best part of her job is working with the undergraduate interns. “I love to see their enthusiasm for the work they do at the Institute. They care deeply about things that are important for DePauw students and for us all. They inspire me and give me hope for the future.”
