John Berry, Assistant Professor of Art

Meredith Brickell, Associate Professor of Art

Meredith Brickell was awarded a 2015-2016 Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship, a $10,000 grant that will support the development of her place-based projects. As part of the fellowship, Brickell will engage with sites for longer periods of time and employ a greater variety of working methods, such as researching public records and gathering personal narratives.

Anne Harris, University Professor, Professor of Art History

Professor Harris gave the faculty welcome at the opening convocation, 2014, is honored with a Johnson Family University Professorship for 2014-2018 and recently published this article, “Medieval Belief and Modern Secularity: Teaching the Middle Ages to Contemporary College Students” Literature Compass 10/12 (2013): 895-899, Summer 2013.

 Lori Miles, A. Reid Winsey Professor of Art and Associate Professor of Art

Professor Miles was selected to be in an exhibit "ND Alumni: Sculptors and Professors".  The project is a collaboration between the South Bend Museum of Art (SBMA) and Notre Dame’s Snite Museum of Art.  Click here to read an article about the exhibit and here for more information about Lori's work in the exhibit.  In addition to the exhibit there will be a two day symposium at Notre Dame.

Cynthia O'Dell, professor of art and art history

Professor O'Dell was invited to exhibit her photographic project, "Messengers of Yesterday," at the 2013 Irish Famine Commemoration in Kilrush, Ireland. The project will be included in upcoming exhibitions at Huntington College in northern Indiana, the 2014 International Irish Famine Commemoration and Symposium at Tulane University, in New Orleans and the Grunwald Gallery of Art at Indiana University (fall 2015). O'Dell will present on the work at the upcoming conference "Postmodern Documentary Photography" at Purdue University.
