Student Wins Computing Research Association Research Award (Spring, 2011)
Peter Terlep, a senior computer science major at DePauw, has received an Honorable Mention in the Computing Research Association's Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Award competition for 2011. The award is noted in the January 2011 issue of Computing Research News as well as on CRAâ€™s website. According to CRA, the award program recognizes undergraduate students in North American universities who show outstanding research potential in an area of computing research. Peter has worked on several research projects under the guidance of Professor Khadija Stewart during his time at DePauw. Professor Stewart and her students work on a variety of areas related to computer security and networking including wireless sensor networks and algorithms for time synchronization.
