Students Attend Indiana Celebration of Women in Computing Conference (Spring, 2008)

Several of the department's women attended the Indiana Celebration of Women in Computing in early February 2008. Ashley Myers (pictured) presented her poster: "Loose Audio Synchronization and Pen-Based Technology". Majors who gave short talks include Erin Donahue: "The Life-Cycle of a Grant"; Malisa Vongskul : "Five Ideas in Five Minutes for Women in CS Organizations"; Kellie Packwood: "Appealing to Different Learning Styles in Computer Science"; Kasey Aderhold: "One Laptop per Child"; Danielle Jaegers: "The Internet's Affect on Media Convergence. Will old fashioned newspapers become obsolete?"
