On Thursday, April 7, the Department of Geosciences was delighted to host department alum Mackenzie Cremeans '14 for a lunchtime presentation on her Ph.D. work at the University of Kansas.  Mackenzie, who is a 2014-2018 Self Graduate Fellow at Kansas, spoke about "Developing Tools and Methods to Explore Groundwater-Surface Water Exchange (and Associated Adventures in Graduate School)".   In her talk, she shared numerous case studies and projects on which she has worked in graduate school, and also reflected on her numerous travels and collaborations with researchers (both in the US and internationally).  She also provided current students advice about applying to graduate school, courses that benefitted her, etc.
