Albert J. Beveridge Fellowship

Albert J. BeveridgeThe Albert J. Beveridge Fellowships are competitive awards to support graduate study in history at either the M.A. or the Ph.D. level. The fellowship is normally for graduating DePauw seniors majoring in history although exceptional history students with interdisciplinary majors may be considered. Recent graduates from DePauw, who were History majors, are also eligible to apply. Applicants should have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 in history. If you plan to attend graduate school at a later date, you should apply for the Beveridge Fellowship at that time. The Fellowship provides substantial support usually for first-year graduate study in a master's or doctoral program in history. Beveridge Fellows are paid in two equal installments upon official notification from the graduate institution of their registration each semester. The deadline for submission of applications is April 15. There were no applicants for the Beveridge Fellowship in 2009.
