A Language Steeped in Colorful Culture and History
Russian studies is an interdisciplinary minor combining study of the Russian language with courses in Russian literature, culture, history, politics and geography.
Students develop a level of language proficiency through on-campus courses. In addition, off-campus programs in Russia and other Slavic countries provide courses in literature, history and the social sciences while immersing students in the study and daily use of the language.
