A new cycle of Fulbright applications begins in spring 2012. Here are dates to keep in mind, beginning with Information Sessions for all students / all classes. It's never too early to start thinking about potential countries and projects for a Fulbright year of research or English language teaching.

FULBRIGHT INFORMATION MEETING for all students / all classes
11:30 am or 4 pm in 301 Harrison Hall
DePauw Fulbright Program Advisors will review the U.S. Student Program, including criteria, application process, and due dates for Fall 2012.  Rising seniors (class of 2013) are especially encouraged to attend.  DePauw Fulbright recipients for 2012 will be on hand to answer questions about the application process!

This workshop is designed for seniors working on personal statements for graduate or professional school or for nationally competitive scholarships and fellowships, including the Fulbright, with fall deadlines. (Fulbright workshops for Fall 2012 applicants are listed on the calendar below.)

A general information session for students from all classes who seek opportunities to explore, study, and research through national fellowships and scholarships, including the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. (Fall 2012 Fulbright applicants need not attend, but future candidates are encouraged to come.)

SPECIAL *SUNDAY AFTERNOON* APPLICATION KICK-OFF FOR DEPAUW SENIORS & GRADUATES
5:00 pm at the Prindle Institute, with light dinner

Dinner and initial meeting for Fall 2012 Fulbright applicants. DEADLINE for applicants to confirm intent to apply. Applicants must start an online application by September 2, 2012 if they wish to be considered for a Fulbright grant in this cycle.

DePauw deadline for letters of reference and language evaluations to be submitted online. Please see the following sites for information about how to register your referees on your application form and how to request a letter from faculty members and others. Reference letters should confirm the points you make in your application essays about your academic achievements, extracurricular interests, and preparation for the project you have proposed.
