Lindsay's Bio


As the Manager of Creative Planning for the Getty Images global Creative Research team, Lindsay Morris performs qualitative and quantitative research analyzing the meaning, implementation and impact of photographs and video in today’s visual world. This research provides advertising, marketing and publishing professionals with imagery that resonates strongly with their target audiences and helps build the profile of their businesses, products and communications.

Lindsay joined Getty Images in 2007 as a Photo Research Editor, where she researched, presented and licensed imagery to advertising, corporate and editorial customers.  In 2010 she joined the Editorial team as a Field Photo Editor, traveling around the world working directly with photographers, talent and clients.  She edited entertainment imagery on-site at global events such as the Oscars, Super Bowl, Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and New York Fashion Week.  In 2012 she accepted a position as Associate Photo Editor at the New York Post, where she directed and produced feature shoots for the daily newspaper.  She is thrilled to have recently re-joined the Getty Images team, merging her past agency and client experience to help identify and shape the visual language of tomorrow.

Lindsay graduated with a degree in Anthropology and Sociology. She was a Media Fellow and was active in The DePauw newspaper.
