Senior Honor Scholar, Henry Dambanemuya was recently appointed a Jewish World Watch Junior Fellow (JWW). The JWW is "a leading organization in the fight against genocide and mass atrocities, engaging individuals and communities to take local actions that produce powerful global results."

Henry, a Presidential Ambassador and a Computer Science and Conflict Studies double major, will work with JWW to "raise awareness and the political will to confront crimes against humanity through programming educational events with a call to action." Henry has developed a software prototype for rural hospitals in Zimbabwe while also exploring the impact of the digital divide. He leads the Conflict Free Campus Initiative, and is currently conducting his honors research entitled "Early Warning Systems for Civilian Protection in (Un)Civil Wars.” For more on the story, please visit JWW's website. |
