Application Process

Admission to the Management Fellows Program is highly selective and based upon a demonstrated interest in a management career, proven superior academic ability, high degree of intellectual curiosity, and leadership potential.

Among the criteria used to select Management Fellows are college entrance test scores, high school class rank, extracurricular activities, and work experience. In the personal interview, the applicant should demonstrate motivation and personal characteristics which will enable successful completion on both of the course and internship requirements of the DePauw Management Fellows Program.

Step 1 - Application

Complete and return to the Office of Admission a DePauw University application;
Complete a resume of activities and accomplishments;
Write a cover letter indicating why you are interested in the Management Fellows Program, and;
Write a 2 - 4 page (double-spaced, typed) essay that identifies a social or economic problem facing the world today, discussing how the effects of the problem are manifested, what solutions could be offered, and what you believe should be done to mitigate the effects of the problem.

For full consideration please submit your application by February 1, 2012. Applications received after February 1 will be considered on a case by case basis.

Step 2 - Interview

After we receive your resume, cover letter, and essay, we will review your academic scores and transcript as reported to the University. In early February, we will review all of the applications and schedule formal interviews. The result of your interview then leads to an admission decision.
