Deadline: While there is no deadline, most member schools begin review of applications in the fall. Application before November 1 is strongly encouraged.
Applications must be submitted electronically to DePauw University which acts as the application coordinator for the Consortium. DePauw will share all applications with each of the Consortium member schools.
Each Consortium member school will handle the interview and selection process in accordance with its own internal selection processes. Candidates wishing information about the status of their application may contact the designated person on each campus. The contact for each campus is posted on the Member Institution Contact List.
Once an applicant has accepted a fellowship at a Consortium member school, his/her name will be posted on the Consortium web site.
Candidates may create an application through the online system: BEGIN APPLICATION. By submitting names of references, the candidate authorizes the Consortium to request online submission of letters of recommendation from those persons. A candidate may save preliminary work and return to edit the application later. An application may be updated even after it has been submitted. An application will be shared with all Consortium member schools promptly after the candidate selects the <<Submit Complete Application >> indicator on the application.
Applicants seeking postdoctoral positions with mentors who are active in particular research subfields are encouraged to visit the websites of the member schools to identify potential hosts and collaborators. Applicants may contact potential mentors with whom they wish to work to alert them to pending applications.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents who will contribute to increasing the diversity of member colleges by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, maximizing the educational benefits of diversity and/or increasing the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of students.
Applicants should have no more than five years of teaching or relevant experience before holding a fellowship.
