Tips and Resources for Teaching in a Cross-Cultural Community

This site is designated to remind you of strategies you may have forgotten and to offer you some tips that could refresh current pedagogies. Although these tips and resources are aimed at teaching in a culturally diverse environment, you will note that most of these strategies are universal.

If you would like to schedule a workshop designed for your department's specific needs, please contact the W, S Centers, and/or Durham House. Also, English language support is available by contacting either Linda Martin, Coordinator of English Language Support (Durham House).

This site will be updated to include a broader student population, so visit often! Click on each topic to find related materials.
