The DePauw Writing Center provides writing help to writers of all levels of ability.  If you are a DePauw student you can bring drafts of your written work for ANY class including but not limited to:

Our tutors represent a variety of majors and have received training in responding to writing.  Each has also demonstrated an ability to write effectively across the curriculum.

Tutors will offer help primarily with thesis, organization, development, and voice, but they can also help with "getting started", punctuation, spelling, and grammar.   The Writing Center will be most helpful to you if you bring papers in for intelligent reader response: in addition, a number of our handouts are available here.

Appointments are recommended, but not required.  Call x4039 to make an appointment.

The Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL) is additionally an excellent resource for questions. They have a hotline for grammar and mechanics specifics.
