GPA Calculator

This calculator can help you approximate your GPA--which comes in handy when you need to see what grades you'll need to satisfy a scholarship requirement or meet a certain goal. The calculator can also help you decide whether to retake a course you got a D or an F in.

In the first column, enter in the number of courses completed at each grade, then in the second column the grade. Be sure to enter half and quarter credit courses as .5 and .25. For instance, if you have A's in French, Biology, and a quarter credit HPER course, you would type in "2.25" in the first column and "A" in the second. As soon as you hit the TAB key or click on another field, the calculator will calculate your total points at that grade--in the example, 9 (4 points for each A in the full course, 1 point for an A in a quarter course). At the bottom of the form, the calculator will calculate your GPA and total grade points when you click the COMPUTE button.

**Please note that this GPA calculator may not EXACTLY reflect your GPA as calculated by the University.  This is because of the different rounding parameters used by this program.**
