RESPONSIBILITIES
The Graduate Intern in the Center for International & Experiential Education will have the primary responsibility and role to promote off-campus study, advise students on off-campus study opportunities, and support students in the DePauw and program application process. The Graduate Intern will assist in planning and organizing off-campus study orientation and re-entry programs, as well as in the general development of projects promoting international and intercultural learning across campus. The Graduate Intern will have the opportunity to assist with Winter Term advising and programming and assist with international student advising, orientation and support services. The position will include event planning, program review and development and data collection.
REQUIREMENTS
Position is most suited to a graduate student seeking an internship/practicum experience. BA degree required, MA preferred, or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge. Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, parents and program administrators. Study abroad experience or extended residency abroad is a must. Proficiency in a foreign language preferred. Experience with MS Office is necessary; experience with Macromedia Dreamweaver is a plus.
