During Winter Term 2007, 315 DePauw students engaged in professional work environments. As interns, these students acquired and practiced job-related skills in variety of settings from architecture to zoology. Finding an internship
with businesses, professionals, not-for-profit organizations, or
any other group offers students the chance to gain a new
kind of knowledge that often affects their goals and plans
for the future. Not only does such a project allow students
to expand their educational horizons, but it also gives
them a practical background in a particular field.
