Student-athletes who want to participate in NCAA Division I or II athletics should begin their certification process early in their senior year of high school. Students should obtain a copy of Making Sure You are Eligible to Participate in College Sports and a Student Release Form (SRF) free of charge from a high school guidance counselor. An $18 fee should be sent along with the form when completed and mailed to the NCAA Clearinghouse. Students who were eligible for fee waiver on the SAT or ACT can also waive the SRF fee.

You must achieve qualifying combined SAT scores or sum of sub-scores from ACT. Division I qualifying GPA and test scores vary according to a sliding scale index.

Student Profile

DePauw has given me so many amazing opportunities that I know I wouldn t be able to find at other colleges. Since I m a music student, it is really important to me that I am able to receive great vocal training as well as a good liberal arts education, and DePauw offers both of those. I think my whole first year at DePauw has been one huge growing experience for me.
