Welcome

Welcome to the admission website for DePauw University. I am delighted that you are here and thinking about DePauw.

Stefanie Niles

Choosing a college is one of the most important decisions that you will make. You can look forward to academic experiences which will challenge you, personal experiences that will test you, and opportunities which you will count among the best in your life. The faculty members who will become your mentors will explore new thoughts and ideas with you, and help you to formulate your perspective on the world. The friendships you will make will last a lifetime, the connections and networks you form will aid your future professional endeavors, and new horizons will be discovered and explored. Your goal in this process is to find a college where you will be encouraged and supported as you learn and where you can develop to your full potential.

Our admission process is designed to help you and DePauw learn more about one another. Through your campus visit, admission interview, and the information you provide on your application, we will get to know you as a person rather than a set of numbers. Your campus visit and interview will allow you to experience DePauw first-hand and ask questions about particular interests. Your fact-finding will be rewarded with information that will help you make a good decision about DePauw, just as we will make a good decision about you as a potential student.

You have some significant decisions ahead. We encourage you to ask questions, think about what is truly important in your university experience, and discuss your options with trusted family members and friends. If there is anything we can do to demystify the process, please let us know. Best wishes to you along the way.

Last semester I had a Greek class with one other student and a full professor. We d get coffee and go to a conference room. It really motivates you, being half the class. Any question that you have is going to get answered.
