DePauw Loan Self-Certification Instructions
All private education loans require a completed and signed Self-Certification Form prior to disbursing loan proceeds.
Please note that these instructions are specifically for DePauw-funded institutional loans applicable to the 2012-13 academic year. Instructions for the 2013-14 academic year will be available in April. Please refer to the section on Private Loans for instructions related to bank-funded loans.
The information below will help when completing the Self-Certification Form for DePauw. Return the signed and completed form to the Financial Aid Office at 204 East Seminary; Greencastle, IN 46135. This form may also be faxed to (765) 658-4137 or sent by E-mail to financialaid@depauw.edu.

A. Cost of Attendance
The standard cost of attendance for most students in the 2012-13 academic year is $51,130. This includes direct costs (tuition, fees, housing and meals) as well as indirect costs like books, personal expenses and travel.
B. Estimated Financial Assistance
To accurately report this information, take the total amount of financial aid listed on your most current award letter and subtract the amount of the DePauw Institutional loan.
C. Difference
Subtract "B" from "A".
