What do you really want from a college education? At DePauw University you will earn a nationally recognized undergraduate degree...and something more.
Here you will gain the desire to lead, the motivation to
do your very best and the confidence to pursue your goals.
In four years you will acquire the knowledge and experience to
achieve uncommon success.
Uncommon success begins with an uncommon approach. DePauw’s approach to learning is distinctive and combines the rigors and intellectual growth of a liberal arts education with practical application. On a per capita basis, we have more students in internships than most other liberal arts colleges. Our students find practical application through internships with companies like; Eli Lilly, the United Nations, NASA, MTV, Accenture, Y&R Advertising, and the Indianapolis Colts just to name a few.
DePauw hosts more than 150 musical performances on campus each year. (Click here for performing arts calendar). Those taking the stage range from internationally known musicians to first-year students. The School of Music enables students to have the best of both worlds: a conservatory-level education within a liberal arts and sciences university. With 130 students majoring in music and nearly 400 College of Liberal Arts students participating in lessons, performances and ensembles, DePauw has a rich appreciation for the musical arts.
“For the Winter Term in Service project in Costa Rica we’ll probably be working in a remote village of one of the four indigenous groups who still practice their native culture. We’ll be helping to finish an aqueduct for drinking water.”
