DePauw University has a long history of welcoming international students to study on campus, and we are recognized as a national leader for our percentage of students who study abroad. To continue to broaden cultural perspectives and better prepare our students for a complex and interrelated world, our five year strategic plan calls for helping more students to study abroad and increasing the number of international students who enroll at DePauw.

The value of the DePauw experience is reflected in the uncommon professional success of our graduates and their contributions to the world around them. Our January "Winter Term" provides the opportunity to integrate practical experience through internships at corporate, scientific, and nonprofit organizations across the United States and around the world. Top students are especially challenged in DePauw's five enhanced study programs, collectively known as the Programs of Distinction.
We invite you to consider thinking about what you could offer as well as gain by joining the DePauw University community.
The student population at DePauw is 2,350 and all students live on campus in student housing. The staff members of the International Education and Off-Campus Study Center serve as advisors to all international students. The 659 acre (267 hectares) campus is quite active with over 100 student organizations, several dining options, an active Spiritual Life Center, and athletic opportunities.
We would like to encourage you to take our virtual tour of campus and to feel free to contact us with any questions.
The International Student Association (ISA) exists to create a bridge between international students and American students at DePauw by increasing cross-cultural awareness. ISA produces two main events each academic year. In the Fall semester, ISA coordinates the International Bazaar which showcases the many cultures on campus through food and cultural performances.
“I enjoy staying busy while taking advantage of all that DePauw has to offer, and I don t want to let any opportunities slip by!”
