About the Weekend Track & Field Event

Life is a race….Are you ready for the race?  Are you ready to learn more about DePauw track and field, its athletes, coaches, and training facilities?

Then we invite you to attend the DePauw Track and Field Weekend Event on February 15 & 16, 2008.  Get to know coaches and athletes, and join us for the DePauw Classic Indoor Track Meet.  You may attend any part of the event or stay for the entire time.  We have three options for your visit on this weekend as we realize not all students will be able to make it for the entire weekend.  See the options for visiting below.

Option #1 (Guaranteed one-on-one time with Coach Stoffregen)

Friday, February 15, 2008

  • 8:45am                  Arrive at the Office of Admission for registration

  • 9:00am-12:00pm    Depending on your request: A campus tour, a meeting with an admission counselor, attend a class (area of interest), talk with Coach Stoffregen individually, meet with Program of Distinction, and/or meet with a faculty member in a particular department.  When registering for this option, please list which of the above you would like for us to arrange by typing them in the Special Interest field at the bottom of the page.

  • 12:00pm               Lunch at the Hub

  • 1:00pm-3:00pm    Depending on your request: A campus tour, a meeting with an admission counselor, attend a class (area of interest), talk with Coach Stoffregen individually, meet with Program of Distinction, and/or meet with a faculty member in a particular department. 

  • 3:30pm                  Meet at Indoor Tennis and Track Center

  • 11:00am                DePauw Track & Field Classic begins (admission is free) at the Indoor Tennis and Track Center

  • 12:00pm                Lunch at Indoor Tennis and Track Center
