School of Music Audition Days

2007-2008 Music Auditions

Music Audition Days are scheduled for the following days:

  • December 3, 2007 - Audition Day

  • January 21, 2008 - Audition Day

  • February 17-18, 2008 - Overnight Audition Program

  • March 2-3, 2008 - Overnight Audition Program


On-Campus Audition Days include the audition, sample lesson with a faculty member, music class visit, campus tour, admission interview, and Q&A session. Overnight Audition Programs will also showcase student and faculty performers as well as include a dinner with current students and faculty members. The February Overnight will highlight the closing concert of Music of the 21st Century. The DePauw Opera Theatre performance will be showcased during the March Overnight. In addition, auditioning students can spend the night in a residence hall with a current music student during the December, February, and March Audition programs.

PLEASE SCHEDULE YOUR AUDITION AT LEAST TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO THE  AUDITION DATE THROUGH ONE OF THE FOLLOWING METHODS:

I can t believe the opportunities I ve had as part of my internship on Capitol Hill. I see Senator Lugar nearly every day. I ve eaten dinner with senators on several occasions. And I got to attend the Presidential Dinner and hear President Bush speak.
