How do I become a member of the DePauw University Alumni Association?
You are considered a DePauw alumnus if you have attended at least one semester at DePauw University. All DePauw alumni are automatically members of the DePauw University Alumni Association, and as such, enjoy multiple benefits and receive regular mailings. It is a non-dues-paying association. A volunteer board of directors governs the Alumni Association. The board meets twice a year and is comprised of a diverse body of alumni.

What is the most important thing I can do as a DePauw University alumnus?

Where can I find DePauw University Alumni Regional Councils and Clubs?
Alumni Regional Councils and Clubs are established where there is a strong concentration of DePauw Alumni. Differences between councils and clubs can be found by reviewing their respective guidelines. Current active Alumni Regional Councils include Chicago, Cincinnati, Greater Washington DC, Indianapolis, New York, San Francisco, and St. Louis. Regional Club locations are Atlanta, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, North Texas, and the Twin Cities.

What benefits do I get as a DePauw University alumnus?
Alumni living close to the Indianapolis area can take advantage of opportunities on DePauw's campus. Enjoy special access to performing arts events, athletics, work-out facilities, the library, the bookstore, and career services. How do I get a DePauw University license plate?
You can now purchase your plate without an authorization form from DePauw. The DePauw license plate is available to all Indiana residents directly from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. Just stop by your local license branch and ask for the DePauw collegiate license plate. You may also purchase it by mail or online. Additional information can be found on Indiana's Bureau of Motor Vehicles website.

Can I buy DePauw merchandise?
Absolutely! The DePauw Bookstore, operated by Barnes & Noble, features both textbooks and bestsellers and a variety of school and office supplies. The bookstore is located on the ground level of the Memorial Student Union Building. For location please check our interactive campus map. Shopping can also be done online at http://depauw.bkstore.com/.

How do I update my contact information?
You can update your information in two ways:
DePauw Alumni Web site: Click on “Update Your Information” on the left navigation bar of any alumni web page, including this one, then follow the instructions listed on the page.
Phone or Email: By calling the Alumni Office’s toll-free number at 877-658-2586 or (765)-658-4208. You can also e-mail alumnioffice@depauw.edu.

How do I submit and/or read class notes?
Submit your own personal and professional news and/or read about your classmates via the DePauw Gateway. Sign into your account at https://www.depauw.edu/e/alu/login.asp. Class Notes are on the left hand side at the navigation bar. Class Notes are also printed in the editions of the DePauw Magazine.

How do I receive the monthly electronic DePauw Newsletter?
@depauw is sent via e-mail to all alumni that have opted “in.” To ensure that you are able to receive this publication, in addition to other important information from the university, check your profile preferences through the DePauw Gateway. The DePauw Newsletter can be found at http://www.depauw.edu/@depauw/.

How do I contact former classmates?
Once you have signed into your account at the DePauw Gateway, finding classmates or other alumni is as simple as 1-2-3! 1 – Click on the alumni email directory or use the advanced search feature on your Gateway homepage. 2 – Type in the person’s first name, last name, and/or class year. 3 – View a list of possible matches and click on a name to find his/her profile, including contact information.

What is GOLD Council?
The GOLD Council is a group of alumni volunteers that represent the Graduates Of the Last Decade. This group exists to promote and support the welfare of DePauw University, foster community between graduates of the last decade and the alumni family through programming and effective communication, and provide continuing value from the University through professional and educational programming, Annual Fund participation among graduates of the last decade, and other involvement opportunities. What is The Alumni of Color Advisory Council (ACAC)?
The Alumni of Color Advisory Council (ACAC) is a standing committee of the DePauw Alumni Association. The ACAC represents the voices of alumni of color, a historically underrepresented group, and serves as an advisory committee to the DePauw Alumni Association Board of Directors.
