Meet at Clark Park, 3400 N. Rockwell
Clark Park is located just west of Lane Tech High School and Devry University,
at Rockwell(2600W) and Roscoe (3400 N). The nearest major intersection is Addison and Western. We will meet at the edge of the parking lot at the south end of the park on Rockwell.

DePauw Alumni Volunteer Celebration
immediately following - Noon to 3:00 p.m. (celebration details tbd)

This is a one day effort sponsored by the Friends of the Chicago River.  This annual event gathers thousands of volunteers to help maintain our unique Chicago River that travels from the South Side of Chicago, North all the way through Lake County, Illinois.  DePauw Alumni have been allocated one branch of the river to work together on this massive undertaking.  All ages are welcome and no skills necessary.  Bring your children and gather up your local DePauw alumni and head into the city!

Volunteers will be planting, doing trail maintenance, invasive plant removal, and clean up. Dress for the weather -- wear gym shoes (NO flip flops!)

Buckeye Ranch offers family-focused mental health treatment services for children with behavioral or pschological disorders.

Volunteers should meet at the Mary Dunn building at 9:00am. Participants will do landscaping projects around the grounds and may want to bring gloves and other gardening tools. Families and friends are welcome to join us!

Experience the fun of the nation's largest half- marathon, and the joy of supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program, when you are on the racecourse of the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon!

To thank you for your community service participation, all volunteers will receive a t-shirt from The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team In Training program to wear as we volunteer. Specific race day instructions will be e-mailed 1-2 weeks prior to the race. Friends and family members are welcome and encouraged to join.

Volunteers should wear long pants, sneakers, hats and sunscreen, and bring their own drinking water.  Gloves & tools will be provided.    

Volunteers will remove introduced plant species from the west end of the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve, in the sand dunes ecosystem and plant native plants. 

Volunteers are invited to a barbeque lunch at the home of Daniel ’00 and Angie Hamilton-Lowe ’00 at 10710 Northgate Street in Culver City. RSVP for both events to Angie at angielynh@yahoo.com or 317-201-4454 by May 21st.
